| Antenna Systems solves Channel 5 mystery |

| Today, Antenna Systems and the Radio Communications Agency traced the source of the interference that was affecting the picture quality of Channel 5 in the Ballymena area. The area affected was the northern side of the of the town. The owner of Antenna Systems, William Mc Cullough Said "This problem has been ongoing for at least two years, and for the first time, Channel 5 on analogue terrestial should be watchable in the affected area." |

| Ensure vehicle is level with a clear view towards the south east and switch on the satellite receiver. Switch on the Promax MS250 meter switch needs to be to the extreme right and ensure the attenuation knob is in the 11 or 12 o'clock position. Loosen both ajuster knobs on mast and set elevation, tighten bottom knob. Turn mast until goes to the meter goes to the top of the scale and tighten the top knob,loosen the bottom knob and check if slight ajustment of the elevation causes the meter to go higher and tighten when signal is at the highest setting. Switch off meter, picture should be on, if no picture unplug the receiver and it should now work tip if the time shown is not UK time you are on the wrong satellite and the elevation is wrong. |
